Aw, what a trip through memory lane :) I've enjoyed watching you pass through many of these milestones. I hadn't realized your dad encouraged you to move here. Fab!

Christopher,

Nice article warning or extremism, and there is more than enough to go around. As a supporter of TEA party activities though, I would like to caution you on broadly painting members intelligence and beliefs. While there are religious conservatives in the group, most of the people I talk with are much more libertarian socially than Republican spokespersons, and are mainly focused on following the constitution and having fiscally responsible small government on all levels. I agree with most aspects of your column, but I know you are more than aware of people generalizing about a group of people. Best of regards... Edd

Beautiful, Christopher, and right on. May I share that when I finally came face to face with my truth and found the courage to step into it, AMAZING MIRACLES began to manifest. And I mean AMAZING. I simply could not create the happiness I sought from the place I was in; I had to move through it, and that was a difficult but necessary choice if I was to become the light I was intended to be. It is true, our choice define us, and sometimes what appears to be socially wrong, is indeed and undeniably right, when done in love. Blessings to you as you spread the light! XO D

I try to influence my world with my patients. I work in a hospital and I see scared, frightened, dismayed, bewildered patients every day. I know I have "the power" in my job, to talk with them, listen to them, get them looking good--as close to normal as I can----get them smelling fresh and smile at them and sing to myself until they ask me what it is I'm singing....and music opens up a whole new door...and hopefully, soon, we have a relationship, such as it is in such a place.....and they can smile and meet their family and feel better about themselves. I can make that difference everyday....in a lot of ways.
